How we collect, use, and protect your information

Last Updated: 4 July 2026

At DKIM Studio, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This site is deliberately built so that there is very little to protect: the tools run in your browser, and we operate no backend that could store what you check.

Data We Collect

Domains and Selectors You Check

When you use the DKIM checker or selector finder, the domain and selector you enter are used to build DNS queries. These queries are:

Google processes those DNS queries as the resolver operator, under its own Google Public DNS privacy policy.

Generated Keys

The record generator creates key pairs with your browser's built-in WebCrypto API. Both the public and private keys are generated locally and never leave the page. We cannot see them, we do not transmit them, and we cannot recover them for you — if you lose a private key, generate a new one and rotate.

Automatically Collected Information

dkim.studio runs no analytics and sets no tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may record standard technical logs (IP address, requested URL, browser type) to serve the site and defend against abuse, as virtually all web hosting does.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

Local Storage

DKIM Studio uses your browser's local storage for two small preferences: your theme choice (light or dark) and your result mode (Easy or Tech). These values stay on your device, are not transmitted anywhere, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings. We set no advertising or analytics cookies.
